He was active with the OldTymer’s of the North Boros and involved in several Scottish Heritage organizations and sixty plus years pursuing his family’s genealogy.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Jean Williams Parker.

He is survived by daughter, Connie Parker Pinkerton (James) of Muddy Creek Twp., sons, Gernie Scott Parker (Christine) of Ross Twp., and Thomas Kirk Parker (Dana) of Allen, TX, a sister, Lorraine Snodgrass of McCandless Twp., grandchildren, Cortney Taylor of Dallas, TX, Leah Chandler of Tyler, TX, Adam Cole of Dallas, TX, Kirk Parker of Thornton, CO, Gernie Matthew Parker of Sharpsville, PA, Derek Parker of Sachse, TX, and Bryce Parker of Farmington, AK as well as by twelve great grandchildren, an uncle, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
