William "Bill" H. Casteel

William H. Casteel, age 61, of Mars, passed away on Thursday evening, March 15, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 26, 1956, he was the son of the late William S. and Margaret Ellen Hill Casteel.

Bill was the President and CEO of “The Flying Pig” in Mars.

Surviving are a son, David Casteel, a daughter, Angela Kachonic, his mother-in-law, Audrey Carnahan, and many great friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Denise “Dee” Casteel, who he married on August 11, 2008 and who died on March 5, 2013.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Sunday from 5-8 PM. Closing prayers will follow at 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the New Community Church, 3100 Wexford Rd. Wexford, PA 15090, with Rev. Hollis Haff, officiating. Please meet at the church.
