Tom grew up the youngest of six siblings in Twin Willows flats in the 40’s. He often spoke of his happy days at the local roller rink and area pool. He excelled at diving and actually perfected a corkscrew dive all his own! He was an exceptional athlete lettering four years at Mars High and continuing to play during his army career. Later in life, he received many awards for his competitive skating passion. Tom’s love for dancing was well known and he could whisk even a girl with “two left feet” around the floor with ease. He was a likeable fellow who enjoyed many good friends and family who cherished all his fun-loving ways. It is most definite that he is smiling down from heaven as he waltzes with the angels.
