Susan G. Spak, On Friday, September 8, 2017, age 71, of Valencia, formerly of Slippery Rock, wife of Stanley F. Spak, daughter of Margaret Vasco Berrigan and the late Robert Berrigan, mother of Sarah Phillips (Carmen) of Gibsonia, Matthew Spak (Jill) of Franklin Park and Robert Spak (Jeanne) of Phoenix, AZ., grandmother of Nathan, Noah and Benjamin Spak, Alex and Julia Phillips and Molly and Peter Spak, sister of Michol Berrigan (Eugene Klaber) of Slippery Rock, Margaret Wheale (Timothy) of Harrisburg, Emily Kirkwood (Jack) of Portersville, and Edward Berrigan in Washington State, also nieces and nephews.  Susan was a registered nurse with a B.S.N. and a Master’s in Counseling.  She had served in the Women’s Army Corps during the Vietnam War and was a school nurse for North Allegheny School District.  Susan was a member of St. Kilian Church.  Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
