Muriel K. Maier, age 87, of Pine Twp., Mars, died Thursday morning, September 28, 2017 at UPMC Cranberry Place.

Born in Regina, Canada on April 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Julie Sabo Kean.

Surviving are her husband, Howard J. Maier, who she married on September 2, 1949, a son, Russel J. Maier and his wife, Joan of Mars, a daughter, Amy Maier of Mars, and a grandson, Matthew Maier.

Arrangements were private by the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.  Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Pine Twp., PA. Memorials in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
