MARY was my first grade teacher. She was very good with children, and was the influence that made me the reader that I am today. I remember as a child how she dedicated extra time with me cause reading was difficult for me. Always thinking of others first. So sorry to hear of her passing. God bless Miss Lang.

Miss Lang was the very definition of an outstanding teacher. Patient, caring, and dedicated in the classroom, yet she always had plenty of energy to play kickball with the students at recess time. She taught second grade to my sister, me, and my brother. When he died in 2010, she sent me a touching sympathy note recalling a Christmas gift that he gave her in 1974. Very blessed were the hundreds of students who sat in her classroom and the many teachers who were privileged to work with her.
