Marion T. (Luntz) Sauer

Marion T. Sauer, age 90, of Gibsonia, Richland Twp., passed away on Sunday morning, November 4, 2018, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp., with her family by her side.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 22, 1928, she was the daughter of the late  Carl B. and Clunon Luntz.

Marion had been the bookkeeper for her husband’s company, R. & E. Manufacturing in Valencia.

She was a member of St. Richard’s Church in Gibsonia.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Sauer-Swaboda (David) of Zelienople, a son, Robert Sauer, Jr. of Richland Twp., her son-in-law of Robert Stanford of Zelienople, a granddaughter, Lauren and two great grandchildren, two sisters,  Bernadette Schlereth of North Braddock and Carla Rankin (Bill) of Gibsonia, a brother, Lawrence Luntz (Barbara) of Cranberry Twp., two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Luntz of Cheswick and Rosemarie Luntz of Saxonburg, and many nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawrence Sauer, Sr., who died on June 10, 2009, a daughter, Carla Stanford, a grandson, Austin Sauer, a sister, Lavonne Tachoir and two brothers, Raymond and Joseph Luntz.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St, Valencia, PA 16059. Rev. James Kirk and Rev. Gary Weston, officiating. Please meet at the church. Burial in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Twp., PA. Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd, Renfrew, PA 16053.
