Louis A. Thalhofer

Louis A. Thalhofer, age 99, of Glenshaw, passed away on Sunday morning, November 4, 2018 at Concordia of Cranberry.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 19, 1919, he was the son of the late Louis and Amelia Thalhofer.

Louis was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Glenshaw.

He served as a Sgt.in the United States Army during W.W. II.

He was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Glenshaw.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol Thalhofer (Carl Pfeifer) of Cranberry Twp., two sons, Ronald Thalhofer (Carol) of Butler and Louis R. Thalhofer in Florida, and his grandchildren, Patricia, Marsha and Timothy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie D. Zoeller Thalhofer, who he married on April 24, 1946 and who died on October 12, 2018 and by a sister, Emily Ordelt.

Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM, with Fr.
