Kay C. (Bowser) Davidson

Kay C. Davidson, age 77, of Mars, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday morning, May 2, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Butler, PA on October 8, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Gertrude Foster Bowser.

Kay had been a receptionist for Family Eye Care North for over 25 years.

A member of Old Union Presbyterian Church, Kay sang in the church choir and also had sung with Dr. English’s Circle of Friends Choir and with the “Sweet Adelines” for a number of years.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne E. Davidson, Sr., who she married on November 21, 1959, a son, Randy Davidson and his wife, Cate (Benkart) of Mars, a daughter-in-law, Kelly Davidson, her grandchildren, Matt, Kaitlyn, Kristen and Zach, and a sister, Arlene Hinton of Butler.

She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne E. Davidson, Jr., and four sisters.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 Noon at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Rd. Mars, PA, with Rev. Dr. Peter deVries, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church.
