James Clyde "Jim" Penatzer

James Clyde “Jim” Penatzer, age 80, of Valencia, formerly of Bakerstown, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his home in Valencia.

Born on November 11, 1937 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late George and Sarah Round Penatzer.

Jim was an avid golfer and a member at Pittsburgh North Golf Club, where he held the Senior Flight Championship and also shot three hole in ones throughout his golf career. He won the Boilermaker’s Golf Championship. Jim enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, playing his guitar, and watching football. He loved animals, especially cats, dogs, and birds.

Jim was a boilermaker and a member of Local Union #154. He got to travel the world doing specialty crane boom work.

Surviving is his son, Jim Penatzer of Gibsonia and his grandchildren, Jesse (Julia) Penatzer of Canonsburg, and Alexis and Cassidy Penatzer of Gibsonia.

Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Rose Marie “Tootie” Penatzer, his brothers, George, Dave, Robert, and Raymond Penatzer, and daughter-in-law, Terri Penatzer.
