James Carleton Long, age 76, of St. Thomas, USVI, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 26, 1943, he was the son of the late Carleton and Pat Roelofs Long.
Jim was a special education teacher for the Charlotte Amalie High School in St. Thomas.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Wilson-Long, a son, Brandon Long of Greenville, S.C., a grandson, Noah Long of Greenville, S.C. and a brother, Michael Long in Detroit.
Preceded in death by a sister, Kay Piriczky.
