James A. Gourash, age 51, of Mars, passed away on Friday morning, September 14, 2018.
Born in McKeesport, PA on January 14, 1967, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Homyak Gourash.
Jim was an engineer for Bayer Corporation in Pittsburgh.
He was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Twp.
Jim loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, but he especially loved time spent with his family and time at his cabin.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Matz Gourash, who he married on November 6, 1999, a son, Matthew, two daughters, Lindsey and Sophia Gourash, all at home, a sister, Sally Kramer of Queenstown, MD., two brothers, Tom Gourash (Debbie) of Hilliard, Ohio and Rich Gourash (Sandra) of Orlando, FL., and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Margaret Gourash.
Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc., 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Twp., PA.
