Ginny L. Glatz

Ginny L. Glatz, age 56, of Mars, formerly of Valencia, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 23, 2018 at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 28, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Margaret Orenish Glatz.

Ginny had been a Ceramic Tile Installer for Glatz Tile and had also worked at Paul’s Chrome Plating and Quality Gardens.

She was a member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church.

Ginny had served in the United States Army and was a member of the Mars V.F.W. Post 7505.

Surviving are a brother, James Glatz (Laura) of Mars, a sister, Lori Trosky (Richard) of Valencia, her nephews, Adam, Joey, Justin and Josh, and her beloved cats, Jessie Owen, Boo and Carly.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 6-8 PM.  Services will be held on Friday at  11:00 AM at the Valencia Presbyterian  Church, 80 Sterrett St, Valencia, PA 16059, with Rev. James Kirk, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler Twp., PA. Memorials may be made to the Valencia Presbyterian Church or to South Butler Community Meals on Wheels, 1091 Pittsburgh Rd, Valencia, PA 16059.
