George T. Mastovich

George T. Mastovich, age 73, of Mars, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born on March 3, 1945, in Hobbs, New Mexico, he was the son of the late Samuel and Pearl Kovalchik Mastovich.

George proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1967.

He worked for North Pittsburgh Telephone Co. and was a member of several telephone organizations over the years.

He was a member of Bakerstown Presbyterian Church.

George enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Diana Meyer Mastovich, who he married on August 21, 1971; a son, Samuel (Kerry) Mastovich of Cranberry Twp.; his sisters, Ann Carlton of S.C. and Mary Ann (Mel) Burkhart of Hollsopple, PA; and his brothers, Joseph Mastovich of Johnstown and Louis (Sonja) Mastovich of FL. Also survived by numerous aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Friends received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with Rev. Paul Becker, officiating.
