Don McCleary

Don McCleary, age 82, of Cranberry, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born on December 28, 1935 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Williams McCleary.

Don successfully started and operated three businesses, A-Air CO., Mechanical Operations of Pittsburgh, and Industrial Pump and Motor Repair. He was an active member of BOMA, Cranberry Rotary, and an NRA Lifetime member. He was also a Mason and was a member at the local V.F.W.

Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley motorcycle, and loved traveling the world with his wife.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Bakerstown Church.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Ehrlichman McCleary, who he married on September 12, 1959; daughters, Tracy Kapres (Rick) of Adams Ridge and Carrie Rimolt (Chris) of NC; grandchildren, Alex and Carlie Kapres and Adam and Ethan Rimolt; and a sister, Gail Trummel of Charleston, SC.

Friends received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at First Presbyterian Bakerstown Church, 5825 Heckert Rd, Bakerstown, PA 15007, Rev. Paul Becker, officiating. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in Bakerstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
