Connie L. (Vogel) Pastva

Connie L. Pastva, age 65, of Butler, formerly of Hampton Twp., passed away on Thursday evening, December 19, 2019 at Paramount Senior Living.

Born in Mars, PA on March 2, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Betty Byers Vogel.

Connie had been a Health and Physical Education Teacher for Mars High School.

She was a member of Glade Run Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed dancing, golfing, enjoyed all cars, especially corvettes and mustangs and also had been in a ski group.

Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Yaklich (Chris) of Butler and Amber Pastva (Fiancee William Koerner) of Seven Fields, her grandchildren, Avery and Madelynn, a sister, Carol Healy (Jerry) of Stanton, CA and a brother, Larry Vogel (Margaret) of Frederick, MD.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Pastva, who passed away on October 10, 1996.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Gutridge, pastor of Glade Run Presbyterian Church, officiating.
