Catherine A. Borgese

Catherine A. Borgese, age 81, formerly of Brighton Heights, Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 16, 2018.  Catherine was at her home in Adams Township, where she resided with her daughter, Catherine A. Roach & family.

She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth A. Bennett Hunter and Joseph F. Hunter.

Catherine Ann was a 20 year breast cancer survivor. She battled with Alzheimer’s Disease  for the final 13 years of her life with the love, support & care of her family.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church.

Mother of Catherine (James) Roach, and Virginia (Anthony) Sulkowski. Grandmother of Anthony Sulkowski, Katie Sulkowski, James (Cassie) Roach, Sean Roach, Domenique Roach, and Patrick Roach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Domenic J. Borgese and a daughter, Elizabeth “Betsy” Borgese.

Family & friends will be received at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Tuesday at 10:00 AM, with Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA.
