Bonnie Rae (Barber) Chappel

Bonnie Rae Chappel, age 63, of Mars, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, February 19, 2019, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Butler, PA on March 8, 1955, she was the daughter of the late George and Beulah Purvis Barber.

Bonnie was an Administrative Assistant for Middlesex Twp.

She also had belonged to the Glade Run Lake Conservancy and the Mars Alliance Church, now LifePointe Alliance Church.

Surviving are her sons, Kyle Chappel and his wife, Mariana of Bellevue, PA and Christopher Chappel and his wife, Lindsey of Harmony and a grandson, Aaron Chappel.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Jeff Lawther, officiating. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA. Memorials in her memory may be made to the Glade Run Lake Conservancy at gladerunlakeconservancy.org.
