James “Jim” Richard Mueller age 76 Passed away on Thursday February 29, 2024, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice House of Wexford.
Jim was born January 10, 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the youngest son of the late Francis Anthony Mueller and Ann Elizabeth Walton Mueller.
Jim was employed by the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad in his younger years and went on to be a highly skilled heavy equipment mechanic serving several companies, including Three Rivers Heavy Equipment, and Lenzner Transportation from which he retired.
He enjoyed being outside during the summer months, sitting on his deck and spending time with his family. He was someone you could count on for help on a project around the house or repairing a vehicle. Whether it be hands on or advice on what needed to be done.
Jim was a great husband, father, and grandfather. A great grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years Sandra Lee Thompson Mueller on February 5, 2013.
He is survived by his daughters, Trish Daugherty of Cabot, Michelle Mueller of Butler, and his son Todd Mueller of Valencia
Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition, he is also survived by two brothers Bill Mueller and his wife Wilda of New Knoxville, Ohio, Phil Mueller and his wife Andrea of Pittsburgh.
And his special friend Leslie Hughan.
In accordance with Jim’s wishes there will be a private visitation and funeral service, and he will be buried next to his wife in Glade Run Cemetery,
The Mueller family is asking individuals who would like to purchase flowers instead donate to their favorite organization, plant a tree or donate to Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
They would also like to invite everyone to join them on Saturday March 9, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Glade Run Church to celebrate Jim's life and have and opportunity to share stories about Jim with a time of nourishment and fellowship
