Roger E. English, age 76, of Valencia, died Sunday morning, October 8, 2017 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Girard, PA on December 28, 1940, he was the son of the late Emory and Marjorie Finn English.

Roger had been a security guard for Brays Island and later for the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy L. Peterson English, who he married on May 27, 1967, a son, Jeffrey English and his wife, Denise, his grandchildren, Tayler and Savanna English, a brother, Lauren English in Florida, and two sisters, Carol English Whitney of Conneaut, PA and Elsie English Walls and her husband, John in Georgia.
