Hi Margie,
I wanted to reach out as I was so very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I have such fond memories of Bob captaining our bus trips at Vincentian. Such a wonderful man and I couldn't be more appreciative of his support during my high school years. Me and my buddies have such fond memories of Bob carting our teams around. He was a true and loyal fan :) He will be missed greatly by all of us. Sincerely - Matt Flynn

I am so sorry for your loss. May God comfort your mourning hearts. I pray that you find comfort in Revelation 21:3-5. This scripture paints a picture of a world that is very different from what we see today. A world with no more sickness, pain or death...and it's not a dream, it is a promise from God. He promises to reverse the effects of death and resurrect your precious one. You will never have to say a painful goodbye ever again!

Margie, Bobbie and Katie and families
I can not begin to tell you how sad we are for your loss. We have been friends for almost 50 years and have never lost touch. Our visit last summer was so special to Bob and I and especially to Christine and her family as you and Bob have always been like our extended family. We will miss Bob's jokes and fast combacks especially when he and our Bob got together and kept us on our toes. We will always have "Stella" to look back on and all the New Years Eves we spent together. We love all of you and wish we could be there to give you the hugs that I am sure you are needing right now. Please know that you are in our prayers and that he is no longer in pain. We will be talking soon.

Aunt Margie, Kate, Bob and All the family,
I am sorry we cannot be there to hug you - we send our love to you in much prayer.
I am relieved that His fight is over. Praise God! I am sad to not have fun times with him anymore. He took to this illness with such courage, I will miss him.
God Bless you all for being there for him and encouraging him. I know it has been a rough journey. I have so many favorite memories with you all birthday parties, hikes "dahn by the crik" and riding bikes, and one favorite time when Uncle Bob took my Dad and me fishing. Now, there was a lot of complaining about letting me come along with all the guys, I was 8 or 9, I think. Uncle Bob somehow convinced everyone to let me join them and told them he even had a life jacket to fit me. That fishing trip at Hartwood Acres was so cool - I had the chance to experience why he loved fishing so much; the sun, peaceful waters and being in nature -All of these things were built into his character and I grew to identify him through that experience of such calm and peace. It was so much fun and I smile to share such a warm memory of him and know that he is smiling back. Praise God for you Aunt Margie and Uncle Bob, I am one lucky niece & cousin. Hugs!

Dear Margie,
My heart aches for you! And it aches for all of us who had the great, good fortune to know Bob. To know him was to love him! He truly was the kindest, gentlest man., the best! And he always made me smile and laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. When I first met the two of you I knew how you would have a big impact on my life. The two of you were the perfect couple. I will never ever forget Bob. Please know that you are in my prayers. Love you! Ulli

Many years ago I was an aspiring children's book author. Every month Bob would pack my manuscripts at the bulk mail center and wish me luck. "I bet you are a great writer and you will be published". His encouragement inspired me to keep writing. Bob was a wonderful person.
May God comfort you during this difficult journey.

Dear Margie,

My heart aches. I'm so sorry for your loss, but I know how much you have all been through, with Bob's long cancer battle. You were so blessed to have, Bob. I've never met a finer gentleman. I loved the time I got to spend with him at work, and at our classes at CCAC. I'm sue, Bob, will be welcomed into heaven by many friends. May he rest in peace, and may you and your family, be surrounded in God's healing light.

Margie - I am so sorry to hear about Bob. The two of you were the first ones to welcome me to St. Kilian's through your Bible Study class. Bob was always so warm and welcoming. And he always made me laugh and feel special.
The two of you shared a beautiful bond and your marriage was an inspiration for all.
Please know how many prayers are being said for you and how the Holy Spirit is right beside you to help you through this.
Let us rejoice in the everlasting peace Bob has found now with our Heavenly Father and may you find comfort in that thought.
I love you, Margie! May God bless you.
