Richard A. Blystone, age 68, of Middlesex Twp., Valencia, died unexpectedly on Monday morning, March 13, 2017 at his home.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 16, 1948, he was the son of the late Homer and Frances George Blystone.

Richard had most recently worked for Mars Beer Distributors. Previously he had worked for North Pgh. Telephone Company.

He was an active member of the Mars Rod and Gun Club.

Surviving are a sister, Harriett Hague (Lou) of Portersville, a brother, Homer Blystone (Beverly) of Bolivar, Ohio, three sisters-in-law, Colleen, Martha and Sally Blystone and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by special friends Amy and Martella. .

He was preceded in death by five sisters, Helen Stewart, Dorothy Reichhold, Anna Hanna, June Fitton and Virginia Patton, three brothers, James, Raymond and Robert Blystone and by a nephew and close friend, John Blystone.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at the Mars Rod and Gun Club, 141 Cashdollar Rd, Mars, PA 16046 on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM.  A reception will follow from 2-4 PM.  Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, North Park.   Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc., 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
