Raymond F. “Ray” Lee, age 86, of Mars, formerly of Allison Park, died Thursday morning, October 13, 2016, at St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia.

He was born on July 6, 1930 in Long Island, N.Y.

Ray had been a mechanical engineer for several different companies in Connecticut, New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

He had served as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Husband of Doris S. Russell Schindler Lee, who he married on January 3, 1983,Step-father of Leslie Schindler (Jeff Blacksmith) of Bairdford, Lauren Malone (John) of Herndon, VA., and Eric Schindler (Nancy) of Gibsonia, six grandchildren, a sister, Genevieve Carroll in New Jersey and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Erica and Monica and a brother, Vincent Kingsley.
