Margaret A. “Margie” Seebacher, age 84, of Valencia, died Thursday morning, February 2, 2017, at Sunnyview Home in Butler.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Hamilton Lache.

Margie was the owner of Saul J. Rubin Barrel and Drum Company in Valencia.

Surviving are three daughters, Sally Holmes (James) of Middlesex Twp., Tammy Braun (David) of Hughesville, PA and Peggy Evans (Dean), a son, William C. Seebacher (Esther) of Slippery Rock, four grandchildren, William C. Seebacher, Jr. (Karie), Diane Bundy (Jared), and Kelly and Casey Braun, her great grandchildren, Zachary, Brooklyn and Alivia Bundy and her faithful canine companion, Lassie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Seebacher, who she married on June 9, 1951 and who died on October 23, 2008.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-8:30 PM. Services will follow at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA. Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 1645 W 8th St, Erie, PA 16505.
