Johanna A. “Boots” Federkeil, age 82, of Butler, died Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017, at her home.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Russell H. and Emma K. Traybert Moore.

Johanna had been a bookkeeper for PNC Bank and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Meridian.

Surviving are two daughters, Samantha Firouzi (Houman) and Denese Wiefling (Derek), both of Butler, two sons, George Federkeil (Barbara) of New Castle and Mathew Federkeil (Anita) of Saxonburg, eighteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Marion Federkeil of Derrider, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Federkeil and a brother, Russell Moore.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 9-11 AM. Services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
