Isabel A. Peebles, age 81, of Mars, died Thursday morning, March 31, 2016 at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center.  She was formerly of Penn Mar Plaza.

Born in Carnoustie, Scotland on July 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Isa Lowson Peebles.

Isabel had been a bank teller at a Florida bank and also worked as a receptionist for Florida Eye Associates.

She had belonged to the Mars AARP.

Surviving are a daughter, Fiona Sowers and her husband, Dan of Middlesex Twp., a son, Andrew J. Blair and his wife, Jayne of Parker, CO., five grandchildren and a brother, Robert A. Peebles and his wife, Beverly of Toronto, Canada.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Dr. Chris Marshall, officiating.  Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
