I was honored to be one of the first members of Hot Harry’s North Park Runners. Harry was certainly a unique person who welcomed everyone he met, always had a smile and had a happy infectious personality. I, along with countless other, have many fond memories of the daily runs at North Park and picnics after races and at “the Farm”. I’m sure my membership card will allow me to enter a very special place in heaven. Rest In Peace Harry, I miss you.

To Have, To Love, and then To Part, is the Greatest Sorrow of One's Heart. Rest in Peace "Hot Harry" next to your beloved wife Gertrude. Some how I believe YOU will be coaching the Angels to RUN one more Lap around Heaven! I was your neighbor when you lived on Bascom Ave. and when ever I pass your old house I'll always have those Special Memories of our Running Days together with your club "HOT HARRY'S NORTH PARK RUNNERS". I was so thankful YOU coached me into completing and having Fun running the Marine Corps Marathon and many of our Pittsburgh Marathon's. I still carry my "HOT HARRY'S NORTH PARK RUNNERS membership card in my wallet #689. My red members T-Shirt and Shorts don't fit me now but I keep them to help keep the Memories last of a inspiring Man I'm proud to have known and call my Dear Friend. I'll surely miss all the correspondence we shared especially your Christmas Cards. Love and Hugs "HOT HARRY" You were truly a terrific mentor and gentleman to all who knew and RAN with YOU. My Deepest Sympathy to your Loved Ones and may it bring their Heart peace knowing what a Terrific Man has left us but still remaining all his wonderful memories.

"Hot Harry" was a dear friend and inspiration. I spent many hours running and chatting with him, and it was an honor to run the Marine Corps marathon as a member of his club. He touched many lives with camaraderie and laughter. RIP to a great man. Run through the clouds.

Uncle Harry will never be forgotten and knowing his zest for living, I wouldn't be surprised if a Running Club is not started by him in Heaven!!

I cannot begin to tell how much Hot Harry will be missed. I looked forward every day to seeing his smile, throw a kiss, or just a wave to staff, residents, and visitors to Holy Family Manor. He was truly a joy to be with and to talk with everyday. His family is amazing and that gives credence to the person Harry was. God Bless You Hot Harry! Keep on running!

Harry was one of the best people I have ever known. Just ask any of the "Sceptors", they know. I'll always remember him giving me free bus rides to North Catholic. I've thought about you a lot through the years. Sleep gently, my friend. You'll be sorely missed.
Harry, Chris and family, you have my heartfelt sorrow. Anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to contact me.
