Gary W. Hardt, age 59, of Cranberry Twp., died Sunday morning, January 29, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Wayne J. and Marjorie J. Edwards Hardt.

Gary was a machinist for GA Industries.

He was an avid bowler at Freeway Lanes in Zelienople for many years and was a member of the Harmony Moose.

Surviving are a son, Johnathan Hardt (Sara) of Evans City, two sisters, Carol Ann McDowell (Donald) of McDonald, PA and Becky Yockey (Dean) of Palmyra, PA, and six nieces, Sarah Burroughs (Tim), Melissa Ballantine (Brad) and Jennifer, Emily, Kimberly and Angela Yockey.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Goossen, pastor of Crestview Community Church, officiating. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Rd.
