Dorothy M. “Bub” Boschele, age 90, of Mars, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 31, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford, with her family at her side.

Born in McKees Rocks, PA on January 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Komorski Vratoric.

Dorothy had been a housekeeper for various area families.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Twp.  She also enjoyed Silver Sneakers at Penn Mar Plaza, where she lived.

Surviving are two daughters, Toni K. McCanch (William) of Leeper, PA, and Carla Fritz (Dennis) of Mars, two sons, Mario C. “Mo” Boschele of Kittanning and Anthony Boschele (Nancy) in Sunset Beach,  N.C.,  a brother, Richard Vratoric of McKees Rocks, nine grandchildren, Pete Laskovich (Pam) of Patton, PA, Ashley Fritz (Luke Harjung) of Harmony, PA, Alysa Fritz (Steve Tracy) of Philadelphia, Christina Edwards (Louis) in South Carolina and 5 other grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, Hunter Laskovich, Madison, Paisley and Chase and 9 others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Boschele, who she married on September 29, 1945 and who died on September 21, 1966, by two sisters, Helen Oldander and Anne Kosol,  by a brother, John Vratoric, Jr. and by a grandchild.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Tuesday at 10:00 AM, with Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. No Calling Hours on Labor Day. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA.
