Doris Wagner Scott, age 83, of Mars, formerly of Butler, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 13, 2017, at Concordia of Cabot.

Born in Mars, PA on December 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late William Brooks and Jane Wright Brooks Mathews.

Doris had been a sales clerk at Montgomery Wards and had also worked for the Mars School District Cafeterias for many years. 

She was a member of Glade Run Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a son, William Wagner (Carla) of Butler, three daughters, Susan Bacon (James) of Butler, Kimberly Foster (Thomas) of Middlesex Twp., and Barbara Hepler (Dale) of Butler, a step-daughter, Sandra Somple of Portersville, five grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Donald Brooks (Grace) of Sarver and a brother-in-law, Donald Trapp of Middlesex Twp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Scott, who she married on July 8, 1986 and who died on July 24, 2014, by a sister, Shirley Trapp and by her former husband, Richard Wagner.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will follow at 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Greg Wiest, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Glade Run Cemetery, Middlesex Twp., PA. Memorials may be made to Concordia of Cabot, 134 Marwood Rd, Cabot, PA 16023.
