Dale W. “Butch” Huffman, age 70, of New Brighton, formerly of Adams Twp., died Sunday morning, July 3, 2016, at Friendship Ridge in Beaver.

Born in Mars, PA on September 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Dale E. and Alice June Fester Huffman.

Butch had been a welder for Butler Fabricating for 20 years.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed his dog scooter, time spent with his grandchildren, telling stories and the best jokes.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara, a daughter, Crystal Walker (Mike) of Marienville, a son, Brian Huffman (Michelle) of New Brighton, his grandchildren, Robert, Samantha, Jason, Matthew, Mikey and Briana, a sister, Karen Knox (Rich) of Mars, three brothers, Denny Huffman (Bobbie) of Mars, Doug Huffman of Etna, and David Huffman (Denise) of Cochranton and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Hoffman, a sister, Cindy Taylor and a brother, Danny Huffman.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 1-4:30 PM. Services will follow at 4:30 PM at the funeral home. Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
