Beulah P. Barber, age 100, of Mars, passed away on Thursday evening, September 7, 2017 at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Richland Twp., PA on August 1, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Annie McMarlin Purvis.

She was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church (Mars Alliance) and had been a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Mars Women’s Club, AARP, Mars American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Mars Senior Citizens.

Surviving are her daughter, Bonnie Chappel of Mars, and two grandsons, Kyle (Mariana) Chappel and Christopher (Lindsey) Chappel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barber and by nine brothers and sisters. 

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Sunday from 4:00-7:00 PM.  Services will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Jeff Lawther, officiating. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. Directions and condolences are available at  www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
