Barbara Lou (Stringert) Walker

Barbara Lou Walker, age 80, of Zelienople, formerly of Marienville, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018 at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn Zapf Stringert.

Surviving are three sons, Chuck Walker (Sylvia) of Butler, Jeffrey Walker (Kathy) of Butler and Mike Walker (Crystal) of Marienville, a daughter, Debbie Schwenke (Ron) in Virginia, fourteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and a brother, John Stringert (Rose) of Pittsburgh, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walker, who died in 1999, by two sons, Robert and William David Walker, and by a brother, Robert Stringert and a sister, Roberta Nicotra.
