Barbara A. Monroy, age 77, of Gibsonia, West Deer Twp., formerly of State College, passed away on Saturday afternoon, January 6, 2018 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Woodland, Clearfield County, PA on June 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Winifred Muir Lonjin.

A homemaker, Barbara was a member of the Church of Christ in State College.

Surviving are her husband, Donald, two daughters, Natalie Mueller (Brian) of Gibsonia and Amanda Lapina (Anthony) of Valencia, her granddaughters, Gabriella and Sophia Lapina, a sister, Janet Weaver of Malverne, PA, and two fur grandkids, Blaze and Sassi.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert and sister, Maggie.
